Guys, I'm not sure if you know this, but I think the "MILK 10th Anniversary" means the Milk magazine in Hong Kong.

http://www.milk.com.hk/

Milk is a Chinese magazine from HK that I see at local bookshops. They sell 2 issues in one pack here. It's magazine about fashion, hip and cool stuff, entertainment, and of course, toys. A lot of latest news and interviews on Hot Toys appear in their magazine segment.

Sample page of Milk magazine toy section.

Anyhow, since the first day War Machine was out, I knew HT will make another "improved" version down the road or special "anniversary" version for something.

cool, thanks for the info demonhunter

Yeah i was expecting another release for IM3, but not so soon.. but I shouldn't be surprised

Seriously I don't know how much they can improve on it though.. the light up eyes.. the markings/codes they left off the armour, maybe etched in.. but of course the new version will leave the old version looking inferior in any case

Mmm....if you ask me, the thing that bothered me about the War Machine , the 1st release from Hot Toys was the proportions and also the color.

I preferred the proportions and color on the SideShow 1/4 maquette. More bulky and a bit of dark green shade to the armor. HT's is all grey and silverish.

Well, I only watched Iron Man 2 once, but I felt SS's maquette color and proportion was more accurate to the movie's.

yeah, probably battle damage with switch-out parts, so that you can display as battle-damaged or non-battle damaged.

100% agree. If you know HT at all, you knew there was another WM coming.

If they don't stop doing this, all they're going to end up doing is encouraging people to sit out the first release on everything and wait for the newer, more improved version.

I mean, at this point, why bother? These things are too expensive to be screwing around buying the first version of every figure.

I might buy a new computer once every 3 - 5 years, if the old one becomes obsolete enough. Twelve inch action figures, though? No thanks.
