They got it wrong, its supposed to be the Mark XLVII (47).
I have my suspicions concerning the missing models between the Mark VII (seen at the end of Avengers) and the XLVII.
Hot Toys have some nice products, but I can't justify buying their environments because of their price point (ex. suit-up gantry at $350 and Hall of armors boxes at $450).
NBR3, were you there when they first started using Roman numerals?

The explanation for the numbering is supposedly that this new armor is so advanced it's 40 generations better than the Mark VII. It certainly doesn't look much more high-tech.

I've also heard Tony is supposed to have built a bunch of Iron Man drones between the Mark 7 and Mark 47, hence the gap. Does make a certain amount of sense when it seems Jarvis is more than capable of flying the suit by him(it?)self.

I'll buy all of them. I'm an iron man ho.
If they release a 1/4 scale line I'm screwed.

I don't think Hot Toys got the number wrong. We are more than likely to see a number of armor types in IM3. I think the Mk.47 is a yet-to-be-seen Extremis armor.
