I'm interpreting the light touch that his foot and hand (on the trident) have as a visual display of the fact that he's underwater? Maybe I'm off base with that assumption, but it almost makes it appear as if he's floating/barely touching the actual throne.

Whatever the case may be, I'm loving this piece.
