They did that with the original Batgirl and look what that did, that piece can be found for under $20. It makes collectibles worthless. I would rather see new characters and designs.

I don't think a re-release would have that effect on all figures. Seeing how the ArtFx Batman & Superman maintain its value after having a 2nd and a 3rd run is something to consider. I think re-issues shouldn't happen to figures that are announced to be retired.
But if a figure is still quite to be in demand, re-release might be a good idea. It'd benefit Koto, new collectors and long-time collectors who may have missed a release and wouldn't want to pay way too much for the missing piece in their collection.

Didn't the second grey/blue version of Batgirl fix some QC issues that the first version had?

For me definitely Liara from the Mass Effect series. Awesome design and one of my favorite characters!

Danger Room Psylocke, they go for about 400 on Ebay, at any give time. They're sitting on a gold mine.

Only if Koto sells a reissue for that price.

Half that price, they'd still fly out of the warehouse

Still against it. It would be a slap in the face to us long term collectors. Why would koto want to do that? I will quit buying them if they re-release limited releases or exclusives. The best thing for them, would be to do a new version of the character. THEN, everyone would be happy.

Saying that the secondary market price of Catwoman wouldn't fall drastically after a re-release is silly.it would literally plummet. The limited number of pieces is healthy and essential part of "limited" collectibles.

I wish they did do re-issues for certain pieces. Not all of us were old enough when they re-issued some of those gorgeous bishoujos and therefore missed out.

I'd love to add a huntress to my collection but definitely not for the $180+ price mark they're going for.
