Yes XM says a Brown version is coming! It will be an entirely new sculpt but will have the sentinel base. XM doesn't do repaints.

If you don't know, Wolverine is 5'3" tall...not 6'. So, in 1/4 scale, he should be about 16" tall. Stocky....as in not slim, but his body frame should be wider. I am not a hater of XM...because I am getting the XM Captain America, which I think is amazing.

I don't think you are a hater Remember, but I just want to know how do you know he is supposed to be shorter? from the pics?? And he definitely appears stocky enough. SS and other companies sure as hell haven't done it right yet. But that doesn't mean those aren't great renditions of the character.
We will just have to wait and see. I am going to be waiting for the brown and yellow version personally. The yellow and blue have been done to death.

I think I'll be waiting for the brown version as well. Having said that, if the prototype of this version looks as good as I think it will, I might not be able to resist picking up this version.
