Iron Studios BvS Batman 1/10
So from the first day I saw this I just loved the pose and knew that I would end up buying it, and I did. I ended up getting it for $100 shipped which I figured was a deal since I was used to paying $60-$90 for Batman black and white statues and this one was fully painted and all.
Well...
Probably going to be my first and most likely last iron studios piece. While the paint ap is ok the statue itself is extremely light, and I'm pretty sure it's hollow. Almost feels brittle and very easily broken.
Also I'm convinced that this is plastic, or in the very least the cape is.
In person this feels more like a toy then a statue and needless to say I'm quite disappointed. Now if it had been $50-$80 it would have been a steal but at $100+ it's a pretty easy pass even for a Batman junkie like me.
Anyways...

Wow sorry to hear that. This brings me to Iron Studios as a whole.
How can anyone really order any more IS products at this point in time ? Two different Cap AoU runs, Broken IM AoU statues, Completely effed up Spidey statues across the board.

On the plus side for me at least it was only a $100 gamble.

The details are there but it just feels so damn brittle.
And in person it's got a plasticky look.

Maybe, if it's painted it doesn't matter what material it's made out of though it won't look like plastic anymore (and they'd have to prime it probably). The reason plastic has that plasticky look with color is because the actual plastic is injected with it when molded. Otherwise the shinyness is just from the glossy finish.

The statue is made from polystone but the cape is made from plastic, which I personally don't mind as it saves on breaking issues during shipping. The reason it feels light is because it's 1/10 scale, it's small... I do have Iron Studios Hulkbuster 1/10 statue and it weights a ton because it's like 10x bigger then Batman.

I have to agree with Walls. I have this batman and it does feel like plastic instead of what they claim it to be, out of polystone, NOT. the thing is hollow for sure and it is plastic. It feels like one of those kits where you paint it. Yep its out of synthetic resin/plastic and not polystone
