I agree.
I think that the image is super photoshopped. Hopefully the cape won't truly be to his heel on the right foot and a foot past his heel on the left side. Hopefully true cape length will be more toward Reeve's style. Superman isn't like Batman, who uses the long cape for concealment or flight/gliding assist.

hmmmm, need to see more.
First impression was "when did Frank Castle get a superman suit?"
Doesn't look like Clark to me ... gotta agree about the curl - that is a requirement IMO

WOW, looks like Raimi's spidey costume design has left quite an impact on Hollywood.
I thought Singer's costume was good but just needed a bigger S symbol.

Looks pretty badass to me.
Who the hell needs him looking exactly the same as the past 70 years worth of wimpy images anyways. The Singer costume sucked imo. It looked like he was wearing speedos there. lol Hopefully he's not wearing the outdated dorky underwear over the pants look so it matches his new look in the comics. I suspect that's why that part of the costume is in shadow til the full reveal later on.

No kidding. Even Wolverine got rid of the different colored underwear over the pants look. It's not the 20th century, much less 1938 anymore. Time for a change.

I've only ever like Supes in the movies. I never liked reading his comics. As long as the movie rocks ass, I don't much care what he looks like. The image shown is acceptable to me.
