True 1/4 scale for Starscream is around 4 feet tall/48 inches.

Will Optimus, Megatron and Starscream all be the same size? Optimus is stated to be 10.5” tall (13” with the swap out energy axe) while Starscream per this thread is supposed to be 18”.
I love the nostalgic cel shaded aesthetic to this G1 line but I don’t know what PCS and Sideshow are thinking by releasing different size/scale statues from the same line.

Starscream is reportedly “Museum” scale while Optimus is “classic scale”. Optimus is reportedly only 10.5” (13” with swap out energy axe). So based on this the difference in price makes sense but what we really need is a consistent scale with all the statues in the 16-18” size and price point being in the $400-$600 range, preferably <500.

I am getting this I figured would be as much as I.A. SS. PCS wrote that like I.A. they want to appeal to more collectors with two scales.
Can't blame them, if the make 18 inch people write they want 10 inch, if they make 10 inch people write they want 18 inch.
I.A. SS is $1,200, yes it does have a throne.
SC Rogue maquette is $750.00.

Optimus and Starscream aren't part of the same line.
Optimus is the small line, with most figures not being much bigger then 10 inches.
Star Scream is the large scaled 18" line. Clocks in at 26.5" with the base and effects etc.
I expected SS to be about $600-650 not $750 but it is a large statue with plenty of switch outs.

Yeah that's correct.
So Starscream is the first in this line and i'm sure OP and Megs will be done at some point.
Next in the small scale line is Soundwave apparently.

You're sure PCS wants to do Optimus and Megatron but sure they will be done?
I'm just not sure where are these hidden customers of PCS new products? Not here or their FB page yet they exist out there...
somewhere.

Keep in mind when spending your money:
ANYTHING can change at any time. Feel safe giving Sideshow your money? Sideshow thought they were going to be issuing refunds too.
Make no mistake Sideshow this distribution agreement can change just as fast as it appeared.
Ink on paper does not equal money in hand or statues in house.

Starscream has always had a beautiful design and this is a gorgeous statue. Art direction is on point with this one.

It looks good, just not $750 good.
Base feels like a ripoff of Prime 1 though.
