Daredevil Born Again Writers/Directors Fired
Looks like Fiege fired the writers and directors of the show after seeing the first four episode, and the whole effort?s being rebooted.

I like Daredevil. He is the Superior Batman with the good writing. So a good writing team is really essential for Daredevil on a tv show as well. If fiege didn't feel like the writing and directing was there then he did right thing by firing the writers and directors of the show. Especially the writing is the real strength of Daredevil. Good Street Level, grim and gritty, dark writing sprinkelled with martial arts. The working formula for any street level vigilante.

Vince D?Onofrio is reported to say this mass firing and rebooting is a good thing:

I have no idea but someone really dropped the ball. Netflix Daredevil is one of my all time favorite superhero properties and anything less than what they accomplished before Disney+ is a waste of time and money.

Not terribly surprising when everything I read regarding this Born Again storyline seemed to have very little comparison to the actual Born Again comic storyline. I just stopped trying to figure out why producers just dumping one of the very best modern Marvel tales ever.

Sounds like the show was going to be a snoozefest. DD should be done right or not at all. Also, Kraven (Sony?) got pushed back as well. Probably because of the writer strike.
Well at least we can still look forward to Agatha Harkniss, Ironheart, the Marvels, and Echo, am I right?

Is anyone really surprised by this? The MCU has been getting steadily worse with each new project. I view them as the cinematic Florida Marlins. Wins the World Series then…….”let’s change everything!”

An update with some optimism from the writer about the show’s new writers and direction:
