So...XM didn't have the license for 1/4 in Europe.
Now I'll get this, for half the price probably.
An nice switch out would be the cherry on top.

The idea with the suitcase where everything possible tries to crawl out and she has cool her foot on the lid. That's just awesome.
What I've seen of her face so far is beautiful.
Unfortunately there is no 1/4 license for this in Europe.
On the other hand, I can buy the Sideshow Zatanna in Europe. The flying stool is cool too.
I'll wait for a few more photos from Sideshow.

I agree.
This PF looks great but I don?t think it blows away the XM. Same basic costume but two different takes on Zatanna as far as what she?s doing. The PF seems more like shes?s doing stage tricks while the XM seems more like she?s in the middle of a mission. For that reason I?d probably buy XM because I?d have her displayed with other JL members. But if I wanted a stand alone statue or to display her just with other female DC PFs I?d go with the PF.

For a flat base, it looks like it has some height on it. Maybe as much as an inch or more?
I expect as much height as they can get away with will be needed to sink a long solid rod into, likely from the ball of the foot, that would extend bent, but unbroken up the length of the leg.
I wouldn't be surprised if that rod bends again at the hips and goes up well into the trunk. In fact, I think that second bend, and extension into the trunk, would an engineering necessity for a bit of counterbalance, to maintain the integrity of the lean over time.
The levitating table is a great effect that speaks to who and what the character is.
I won't be getting it, but I gotta applaud the concept and design team here for coming up with something fresh and inspired.

Agreed. It was during a time of mostly home runs for SS female portraits IMO, and this one was always a miss. I thought seeing the proto in person at SDCC would sway me. Nope.
Oof, and so much fabric. I either forgot or never realized the cincher corset thing was fabric too.

Most definitely is a thick base for support. From looking at it, it seems like the leg up to the boot is all metal and actually connected to the base and not removable. Then I'm thinking her thigh will insert into the metal boot with another steel rod. That's what it looks like anyway. I love how we're all blown away by the engineering on the one. It's been fun to speculate and discuss.

That being said I do really like the stage backdrop on the Prime 1 version even though that would have jacked up the price on this PF, I love that old Victorian era stage Magician aesthetic, thier vintage promo posters were great.
A little Zatanna billboard ad stand in that style would have been a nice addition for this.

Adam Hughes did this print years ago.
