A recent art commission by Ethen Beavers, an artist whose credits include
Batman: The Brave and the Bold,
Samurai Jack,
Batman: The Animated Series,
Star Wars, and even '60s-era
Star Trek. He opened up for commissions earlier this year on his Instagram page, and I jumped at the chance. But being an '80s kid who grew up on the movies as much as the original series, I wanted something to represent that era of
Trek. Fortunately for me, Beavers was eager to take a whack at the movie era, so this is what came out of it.
