Alice is the coolest! His recent stuff is pretty bad though...
Pablo, did you like Alic's Poison Album with "Only my Heart Talkin'" I think it was produced by Desmond Child, and Steve and Joe were on the track!

Haven't heard that one...should I check it out?
Also, Ryche, Empire is the only Queensryche album that I have and I Love it to death...which others would you recommend?

You're right, he is the coolest! Have to disagree with you on the recent CD's though.. Brutal Planet, Dragontown, Eyes of.., and Dirty Diamonds are fantastic. You gotta take 'em for a spin.

That would be "Trash" and besides Steve and Joe, the album had Jon Bon Jovi and Kip Winger (who, incidentally, was Alice's bassist for part of the 80's). The album was a success because of Desmond producing it. The follow-up "Hey Stoopid" wasn't such a hit.

Check out Alice Cooper's "TRASH" disc for sure! Title track is good, ballad with Aerosmith "Only My Heart Talkin'" is great, and there is one more ballad that was good too!
Well,,,as far as Queensryche discs go...from Empire, I would direct you to "Promised Land", then back to "Rage for Order"
"Operation Mindcrime" is a brilliantly written and orchestrated prog-rock opera....you may have heard "I dont believe in love", or "eyes of a Stranger"....but the tracks that got no airplay are the best..."The Mission" being a brillaint song!
Jump on board...April 4th sees "Operation Mindcrime II' pick up the story a decade later!

Fellow board member, and Queensryche fan Krypton Knight sent me this link
http://www.rhino.com/fun/listeningpa...tyPlayer.lasso
to listen to Operation Mindcrime II online before it is released.
Check it out and tell me what you think!
THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU!

Then you are an ACG purist and not really a solo AC fan. Man, you're missing out on some pretty good stuff (at least 20 releases).

Sure. You PM me your address and I may be able to scare up an Alice MP3 compilation if you're interested.
Another fun CD is an Alice tribute called "Humanary Stew". Check it out here:
http://www.rollingstone.com/artists/...ion=6.0.8.1024
Has covers performed by Roger Daltrey, Joe Elliot, Vince Neil, Bruce ****inson.. That site has samples too, I think.

I may be long winded, but I don't blow...or suck...well...that's not entirely true...I'll let you figure that one out.
