Reminds me of that big Kong statue... first up the ES with 30%.. and later on, drop the price with 30%.. a very nice gesture to all the early collectors who jumped on those.. NOT!

Difference is - Kong vs. V-Rex totally friggin' ROCKS no matter what the ES,
while all these supes statues don't look very good, and are too pricey.

Just wait a couple of months and they'll reduce prices on these by 30% like they did with Kong and Narnia. I for one will not be buying any more WETA for their original prices ever again.

Price is still too much

322.68 USD for each statue may looks like it's too much, but remember they are all double statues with some kind of environment, if they were only one charcter they would be like 160.00 bucks and if you include the environment, they come close to their original lotr pieces which were 125.00 bucks, but they will still probably reduce the price.

I still wonder why half of the sculpts feature a collapsed/unconscious Superman.
And I still think that the "Disaster Averted" one looks like a Giant Robot Madonna was attacking the city and one of the cups from her Giant Robot Madonna Bra fell off and plummeted to earth.
The Daily Planet one looks nice. But I still don't think I'll be picking it up.
