Just got back. No spoilers, but I found this zombie horror/comedy to be a lot weaker than what the critics are saying. It ran pretty hot and cold for the whole movie. Woody is great and he gets the lion's share of the great lines and action. Eisenberg, who plays the main hero and narrator, is almost irritating in his Woody Allen-esque monologues and self put downs. It grew old fast.
The older girl, Emma Stone, grows on you. The kid doesn't leave any impression.
What really blew was the pacing. You have these roller-coaster zombie scenes, all of which are actually kinda fun and heart-pounding....then you have these 15 minute pregnant pauses which just shut the movie down. I'd like to hear what other zombie fans think.
Oh, and the cameo you may have heard about is awesome. Much better than what I thought it was gonna be.
