dont get me wrong...I love Jackman as wolverine but he had a big part of ownership of the story of Origins and where it went, and he let it go astray. Not the worst movie but it needed some help. I can only pray that he doesnt F this one up.

It couldn't possibly be worse.

Sometimes it just hits me in the face, why I stay away from a lot of comic based forums...

I'll be there when it's released but will have much lower expectations after the first outing.

I think certain stories work better as comics than movies... the Wolverine Mini is one of these.

If they had've started with the whole Samurai gig, I could've believed it, but now I think it's going to be so contrived.

Why is it in todays desensitized culture we need more and more and more BLOOOD!! Guy get over that.

They euthanized a village, cut off Wade's head, sniper shot a granny, blew up grandpa, Set fire to an alive victim(bad guy or not), shoved a fist through a guys torso. Yes, most of the after effects were left for your mind to visualize, BUT is that not how comics used to be?? Look at some of our greatest genre movies, no blood anywhere to be seen.

If you crave your "bloodshed" go watch Saw 1-5.

I agree with this. Wolverine doesn't need gore to be awesome, frankly. I think the gore-factor is one of the things wrong with the Wolverine books, at this point. Some writers just get into this "what can we do to Wolverine next" mentality, and it's boring.

Good story doesn't have to shock--or try to, anyway--to entertain.

I think you're right. But only if they didn't go the typical route and try to fit in 10 different storylines into one movie. I'd like them to just use the mini series as a storyboard and not add in a bunch of other crap.

That's a good point but the studio probably had their hands on that one too. Remember they're probably looking to make money off of toys as well.

I thought Origins was ok. I like the direction they took the film in I just think it was executed poorly.

Editing was horrible & the special effects were below average.

I think this film really needs a quality director.
Bryan Singer is looking to get back in to the X-Men franchise he should definitely be considered look what he did for Logan in X-2.
