Ah, Keith, we’re all members of the brotherhood of weakness.

Great fun, as always, spending the day with you yesterday!

Not often you get a bargain at the Mile High comic warehouse.

Next time we go, let’s stop and buy a lottery ticket.

After a year of patiently waiting I picked up Dr Strange Sorcerer Supreme vol 1. Got it in a sweet trade so I am very happy. After reading the old Stan Lee / Ditko one and watching the movie, Dr Strange has become one of my favourite characters in Marvel. I am totally drawn to his mystical occult powers so I am really looking forward to eventually reading this book.

I just finished the Annihilation:Conquest omnibus. It was very good but a little long. I have to say that I liked it better than Annihilation. Annihilation had a better flow but I liked the story in Conquest better. I am now starting the Abnett/Lanning Gaurdians of the Galaxy Omnibus. I am only 2 issues into it and I am enjoying it.

I just finished the Abnett/Lanning Guardians of the Galaxy Omnibus and it was incredible. The stories were fantastic and it had a wonderful cast of characters. Also, in addition to the 25 issues of GotG it also had The Thanos Imperative mini series in it (along with the two book-end issues), which was also an incredible read. The whole omnibus really dealt with mainly C and D level characters (Thanos being the exception) and put them in a well deserved spotlight
