I nabbed Hawkeye on the bay yesterday for US$82.04
far too cheap

although it does make the international shipping easier to swallow

Looks like his arrow has an old school explosive grenade head. I've seen that before.

Agreed. I'm an X-fan and a cosmic-fan, not an Avengers fan. To me, Hawkeye was the first piece I didn't feel was necessary to have. Cap, Thor and Namor are all Iconic Marvel characters while Hawkeye isn't as classic (to me). Well, I have to say, I think this is a REALLY nice piece. I picked it up and think it's great. I would even say that I have a better appreciation for the character due to liking the statue so much. A good piece all around

That's good to hear, Galactus. Supporting these secondary characters is what keeps a line going. Every piece can't be a icon. That would limit the series drastically.

If we can continue doing these types of characters, we'll have a much greater line as time goes by. See ya,

Rob I hope you keep doing those type of characters. There has been an Icon overload in the statue world. Hawkeye like characters are unique and more interesting at times.

Your remarks are right on target. Yes, Hawkeye's hands are too big and his quiver is too small, but the pose is beautiful and of the three core Avenger statues released so far, Hawkeye is the one that makes the display a jaw-dropper. Thor and Cap are two of my favorite Avengers, and Hard Hero's are the statues I wanted of each... but Hawkeye is even better.

I can't wait to put the Hard Hero Iron Man next to these three. This is shaping up as the Avengers display I always dreamed of.

Now if only we could get Rob to OK GOLIATH in that scale...
