Cleaning Statues and Maquettes

Whats the best way to clean firstly a dusty statue, secondly a statue with fingermarks all over it and thirdly a statue that appears close up to be greasy, possibly from being in a kitchen/diner??? Think GG Clone Wars Maquette type statue
Cheers

Just use a little soap and water and a little elbow grease...

damn!!! you guys are not helping this guy how to clean!!

GOSH!!!

Here is my technique!!! Get a host and get a bucket of water with car wash soap in it. Use a brush and dip into the bucket and brush it onthe statue.

Then you spray it with the host!!

To tell you the truth, all my collection are still in its original box. Therefore, I never clean my collection and dont know how to..

I dont even display my collection because im afraid that it will get dusty plus i dont have any room to display them !!

Spray it with the host? You're sick man! You mean you expect a person to pee on the statue?! Sicko!!

I think what you meant was hose and not host.

I just use the hose attachment on my kitchen sink on some statues but not the real valuable ones. Never had any problems.
