Tell her you're going to Santa Maria and she'll insist on NOT going.
And there isn't anything going on that I know of, and the comic book store in SB is mostly just comics.

There is an Anime convention in Northridge the weekend of the 22nd. The Air Soft people will be there.

Viv's more than welcome, as far as I'm concerned.
Or we can just put her up in a day spa or something...  My wife's going to be in Oregon, and I'm not sure where Dan's family will be.. if you guys bring your wives/kids we have a nice lunch and uh... shop? Hahaha... of course, they'd have to stomach us going into any comic book stores we wander by.

My wife's family is getting together that day (birthday party for her grandmother), but I'm going to get a pass on it ( I better). So they won't be with me.

No the one in San Fransisco that I'm going to is on the weekend of the 27th. So I could make it the week before... all though my good friend who I haven't visited in SB for 2 years will kill me if she finds out I went up there to meet you guys and not her. I wasn't planning on going to the Northridge convention but I would go if we were meeting there.

Northridge is basically Los Angeles.. which Santa Barbara is NOT.
