I hate they don't use the Wolves enough. They are so badass.

Didn't see the snippet, but this was how I interpreted the scene. So they gave no actual explanation for Drogon's timely appearance?

Agreed, but he most likely would have been killed in the process rather than wounded. Wolf fur not as tough as dragon hide.

he was around, even if they did want to give Dani Warg powers unless her abilities also allowed for her Dragons to teleport to her from anywhere in the world he was clearly just nearby when things happened.

Um...the coliseum looks like a giant doggy dish. It was filled with people. Drogon was just coming to dinner...

Yeah, that's basically what I assumed, but it just seemed too convenient you know, GoT usually doesn't go down that route. I knew it wasn't going to happen, but based on show history and how dire the situation was at that moment, they should have all just been killed. Damn you GoT for making me expect that characters don't get saved at the last minute on this show! Now I'm disappointed when they do!

Depends on how you view the scene with Drogon on top of the temple in I think ep 3. He just happened to show up there too, after she'd gone through a really tough time and been shunned by the other two dragons the episode before. I viewed it as he hasn't been far away at any given time. I interpreted it as Drogon has been watching over her, from afar, the entire time. They've always hinted her connection to him was stronger than the other two. I saw the touching scene earlier of him showing up as him reaffirming her "I'm here, don't worry." The scene last night was him proving it.

I can see that take. For me though, when he showed up at the temple I didn't read more into it than having him show up for dramatic purpose, but it felt more natural. It was more random than him showing up out of the blue to save the day.
