Really nice statue. Even though I only collect 1/6 scale statues this is very nice. Way to big to fit anywhere d century though. Unless you have a room din dictated to statues.

Supposedly the price is higher than people expected for some reason.
i was expecting a price closer to swamp thing given the size of the figure and base

That sounds reasonable I guess.

But one statue is Vinyl I believe? And the other is made out of Polystone and weights around 20kg/44 pounds. And I know weight doesn't equate value, but still.

But I reckon it was highly unlikely that Thanos was going to be priced at $820 like Swamp Thing, given that Iron Studios' Falcon and Mark 46 were already priced at $800 USD on Sideshows website, and with Thanos being a much bigger figure than those two pieces it was imo always going to be more. How much more is up for debate of course.

Pricing on all of these statues from any given manufacturer is all over the place. What Prime 1 charges for a 1/3 varies to what Sideshow, XM and Iron Studios charges for 1/4. Sideshow has it's own criteria in pricing so when we all guess high on Rogue they quote less in price.

It's pointless to guess at this point. Just round up your guesses for those pieces you really want and be pleasantly surprised if its lower.

Haven't seen anyone in this thread say they ordered this Doomsday Maquette. Including myself ....no way I'm ordering this.

Does that mean no one here ordered?

To be perfectly honest, I haven't ruled it out yet. It's not like I've plenty of options here for Doomsday.

With only one payment apart form the NRD paid on the Prime 1 Piece there's still the chance I may cancel and pick this up.

I have ordered the exclusive, but anxious whether the statue will live up to its price. For $1250 it better be the best maquette/PF Sideshow has ever made, by far.
