Looks good... color tone is a bit too mustardy. The eye is cool.

Love it, shame they didn't all turn out like that.

Dark yellow instead of brown, some reddish tones, otherwise an excellent approach.

Glossy, I would go matte here the rex skin looks better matte IMHO.

With any repaint, elaborate or simple, the details pop up on these things immediately. And finally we can see the sculpt on its original glory.

The acrylic eyes always gives life..

With the help of a friend I made a stand for mine. I was reluctant to pay $230 CAD plus shipping for Chronicle's table stand. Total cost for this stand: $30 CAD.

Before anyone says the bottom is to long we did that intentionally to leave room for future decoration (Danger 10,000 Volts sign, a JP Jeep license plate, or a T-Rex Paddock sign for a few possibilities).

We cut the pieces and assembled it to make sure everything was lining up and measured properly:

Disassembled for priming:

I forgot to get pictures of when we spread epoxy and sanded it for the final coat.

Did some careful measuring to make sure the screws were in exactly the right spots the first time:

And the bust mounted on the stand:

Added eight L brackets on the back for extra strength as the bust is much heavier than I initially thought:
