If anyone has a broken part of a statue I could replace it. If you want it repainted to match your kit that may be possible as well. I have access to look at the factory paint jobs of almost every kit ARH has put on the market and match the paint job as close as possible.

That is a good idea, I have been saying for years I don't know why SS and other companies don't sell parts.

Technically, it isn't coming from ARH right? Its from people asking Arkalogik.

Its not really a recast if they use the original molds. Plus, they are going to be parts and kits so I have no issue with it if it helps ARH stay afloat. If SS or someone else started selling kits of old pieces I wouldn't be as forgiving.

It’s ARH’s way of compensating Arkalogik for work done., if it was cast without producer permission or knowledge then I would call it recasting.

Hey guys just wanted to drop a sad update regarding the kits. I began going through many of the molds today and found that because of their age many of them have lost their flexibility and will now tear very easy. Unfortunately this means that if I put resin in many of these molds I would maybe get one casting because as I pulled the casting out it would probably be pulling little chunks of detail out of the mold making it unusable.

Some are better than others but if just one mold is bad then we cannot make the entire kit. Some of these statues have 20 plus molds for one kit! This hardly makes it worth it to go through them all and load them all up and store them away. Hopefully I may find some molds that are ok to cast some weapons or heads or spare parts. Just depends on the statue and if I can find it!

Check out how big of mess this is to go through! Many of the molds are not labeled labeled so it is hard to tell what goes with what. I do have all the more recent AP molds and they are stills in good shape for kits.

I will have more definite answers by next week but just wanted to drop you guys an update. Sorry for getting your guys hopes up. I was really looking forward to working with these molds and selling some kits! I am even more disappointed trust me!!

One thought I had is that if I could get at least 20 people to commit to buying a kit then it may be worth remolding. I could cast one final casting out of the old molds and then take the resin master and remold it as a workable production mold.

What a bummer...even more for yourself, hopefully those arms and weapons that I asked about are good for a couple more casts.
