Shocktrooper billed but not credited
Well I have no one to blame but myself. I ordered the SDCC Red Shocktrooper without reading the info only to find out it was for Con pic up only. I immediately contacted Gentle Giant and asked them to cancel the order and not bill me. They got back to me and said they would. Well yesterday I get my credit card bill and sure enough, there's the $60 charge for the Shocktrooper and no credit. Now I have to go back and forth with them and my CC company to get this removed. Oh well, next time I'll read first and shoot later. I know a few others did the same thing and I wonder if you're also in the same boat.

Sounds like the though of GG's "Quality" Online ordering experience got you a little trigger happy!! I almost did the same thing but realized it before I completed.
Maybe you’ll get lucky and they’ll fill the order – sounds like there were an abundance of them at the CON…

Having been burned with their online ordering in the past I jumped the gun and ordered before reading the e-mail. They did get back to me and say they would refund me so I'm not too worried. At worst it will be a minor inconvenience going back and forth until this is sorted out. The Hobbit picked one up for me at SDCC so I actually don't want them to fill the order.

I hear ya on that - it's too bad that our first reaction is one of panic each time we get the GG newsletter.
I'm sure they will right the situation.

I too was billed but unable to attend.. well, my friend wasn't able to attend.
I sent an email to GG regarding refund for items not picked up at the SDCC and am still waiting for their reply. It's been about a week now since my first email. Originally my friend was going to pick this up for me but at the last minute was not able to go because of an emergency. GG's policy of 5-7 business days before a reply really has got to improve. Does anybody know the customer service number that they can be reached at?
