Yeah, Gentle Giant can just shove any future "spectacular" offers.
I don't know if anyone else got the e-mail about the special Premier Guild offers that Gentle Giant just put out, but they were offering a limited number of certain sold out busts, some of which were APs, or low edition numbers.
At least one of the links to an item I wanted didn't work and I experienced multiple instances of getting items I DID want in my cart, only to have it sell out after multiple attempts to check out.
So, in the future, maybe you should make sure you have your act together before dangling special items in front of people, Gentle Giant.

same thing happened to me. I think i'm pretty much done with them. their treatment of their customers is mind boggling. usually, if the product is good i can look past any customer service flaws, but not with gentle giant. they've just gone too far.

I don't feel mistreated, exactly, but I do feel that that were absolutely not prepared for what they were doing. And they know that they have problems with the website in times of high traffic, because this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
Anyway, I feel that they've had ample opportunity to get their act together and just haven't done it. If they're going to put out an offer like this, which they know is going to drive hundreds of people to traffic their site all at once, they need to upgrade, or just not do it until they have.
And there's no excuse for them not knowing that they didn't even have a page for their Shocktrooper mini-bust on the website. It's been absent for quite a while. How could they not know they were hotlinking to nothing?
The bottom line is that I would rather not have known about this promotion than been gipped out of three separate busts, which were in my shopping cart at one time, or another.

Sometimes it seems like these copmpanies are run by a group of people who hire their friends and girlfriends when they should be hiring professionals. If these people spent their money wisely and hired the right personnel, they'd go really far as GG has so much great product...
