It's not like when you smash it all these deadly gasses are going to come out of the statue.

But I do suggest putting a fairly thick towel over the statue before you hit it so flying pieces don't hit you.

Oh I would absolutely do something silly if they told me I needed to provide evidence I destroyed a part to get a replacement.

Bring it to a trash compactor, throw it into a lake, use one of those water balloon slingshots and send it flying, something. It would be glorious.

I really don't want to be around when you shred a statue...you make it sound so dangerous

Now that you mention it...…

Sort of a complaint but also kind of a funny story....

I finally got around to unboxing it again with the intention of swapping out the replacement portrait I had received. I took a quick look at both side by side and thought, not much of a difference between the two.

I called my wife over and asked her what she thought. She took them for me and stared at them for a little while so I walked away. I glanced back and saw her switching them back and forth in her hands before saying "Nope, I can't see any different".

A little startled I asked her if she remembered which head I had put it which hand of hers....no she replied.

I took them both trying to figure out which was the replacement.....I COULDN'T TELL!! I finally had to pull out my jewellers magnifying glasses and compare the two and then compared them to a photo I had taken of the original. I was stunned at how every little minor detail I could see, right down to the hair brush strokes for the eyebrows was a carbon copy of the other. even a very indented line on her left forehead just under her headband was exactly the same. I finally made the distinction by a very tiny bump in the corner of an eye. other than that they were exactly the same.

Another observance under this microscopic exam was that the eyes are indeed decals but not the decals I was expecting. The whole eye is a decal including the whites of the eyes.

You sure? Seems like we’d all get the same eye alignment if that were the case.
