Thanks, Rich. Now I just have a mental image of you dressed like a member of Queen Victoria's Officer Corps, with a pith helmet and drinking tea under an umbrella held by a small child. LOL

If nothing else, adding the Harry Potter reference allows this group to be called FONDA, which is just a cooler name overall, I think...

We're all different and we come to FON for different reasons.

LOL...you're a better man than I, Rich. I'm quite comfortable using the "Britney Yardstick of Humanity".
You're probably right that homophobic posters probably steer clear of this thread--but I really thought (hoped?) that the overwhelming and completely supportive reaction to Mike's situation a month ago or so meant that most of us here were pretty accepting. (Which honestly still sounds weird to me...it's like saying "it's nice of you to be accepting of the fact that I have brown hair". But I digress...)

Well, they usually steer clear, but Rich is right in that there are little snide comments made in other threads. Nothing I feel is completely malicious, but posts like the one that started the ruckus on the DA thread rarely seem non-malicious, even though it's just someone speaking from their own personal experience and/or belief system.
But, I'm glad that there's frank and open dialogue about it. That's progress.
