Shin Akuma Bust PCS
Hey everyone, first post here! I am new to the hobby and I have a couple pieces (and of course Sagat on pre order!) that includes the Shin Akuma Bust PCS SS exclusive that I just got about 2 months ago
Now, I love this bust but how in the heck was this still available? Is there not a very large demand for busts in this hobby or something? Also, does anyone know if PCS will be at PAX in Seattle coming up?
Thanks everyone! Now time to hunt for the Shin Akuma SS statue O_O

Welcome s pauliak87...congrats on entering this great line of statues...regarding your bust question, the reason its not as popular is that more ppl prefer the 1/4 scale stuff, including myself...once you go to the PF form of statues...its hard to go back to the smaller stuff...you will find that out when Sagat arrives to your home...good luck on your hunt for Shin

Welcome! I have both regular and shin busts. Honestly I don't know the answer to your question. I adore these busts. I love the detail. The pores in the skin.
Mind you I'm a big Akuma fan

Welcome. I think part of the answer to your question is that there's been a shift in the market from "mini" busts.. I remember 1 or 2 of the old Sota busts used to go for crazy $$.. People don't really seek mini busts anymore, whether it be from bowen designs, sideshow, etc... but it's definitely not the product.. I love the busts too, I like how PCS took a 'realistic' take on the characters.. If I had one complaint I'd like them a bit bigger.. but that's why we have 1:1 busts coming

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Mini Busts havent been a big seller for a while now, I heard a few reps from sideshow say that this year. People are going more for 1:1.

After a few months of having this on display the elastic band the beads are on has stretched..... A lot. If i let his beads sit normal they go down pass his chest onto his Gi. I will try to replace the band or just make another pair for him.

We know you are Marky M ...your only cool dude to name cat Gouki. As also allowing him to sniff your statues. The patience you have. LOL!!
