Remember when Evangelists were all over the place? Doesn't seem like there are any new ones with the stature and influence that they used to have. I just remember during the eighties and early nineties you couldn't turn on the TV without one of them being on.

They just had one of those evangelists/faith healers/crooks on tv last week I think it was 20/20 and he was selling so called miracle water and he had his wife backstage telling him the names of the people in the crowds and what was wrong with them by hidden earpiece and microphone.
I find it strange that all these guys are super rich when the people that give them money aren`t.

"The Rev. Jerry Falwell, the television evangelist who founded the Moral Majority and used it to mold the religious right into a political force, died Tuesday shortly after being found unconscious in his office at Liberty University, a school executive said. He was 73. The police are still looking to question a male escort who was the last person seen leaving his office."
