The Last Legion 8/10
Much better than I expected. A 2007 movie with Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley. A kind of a King Arthur prequel that incorporates a Roman theme and gives a story about Excalibur.
It also gets at least an extra point for having Aishwarya Rei in it. I swear at some times she looks about as hot as it gets, and then every once in a while she kind of doesn't. In this movie though she looks marvelous.
and a pic of her not in the costume for the movie.

Jigoku [Hell] (1960) - 7/10
A great Japanese horror movie. A man flees a hit-and-run and is plagued by his own guilty conscience, leading him to suffer the tortures of Hell. Some beautiful and disturbing imagery in this one - check out some screencaps here:

I had high hopes but this instant classic was jut as hilarious as the original. There's some scenes in this that will be referenced for years to come

The Monkey scene in the trailer was hilarious. I might go and see this in the cinema although maybe I'll wait for the BD.

Great news, I had a bad feeling about this one. Comedy sequels are more miss than hit. I'll have to check this one out.

Wow. I loved the original too but had serious doubts about whether this sequel would work. Glad to see it does.
