This statue is a poster child for why I personally just don't care for mixed media statues. I just feel like it really takes the "premium" feel away and kind of makes what it's made out of irrelevant. I mean the statue looks fine.....yes. But if I'm going to appreciate/admire/whatever the quality of a statue I pay this much for, I would much rather focus on sculpting ability than sewing ability.

Star Wars doesn’t have a very good track record of holding values. Only time I saw prices rise is when Force Awakens came out.

I agree it makes it look like a 1/4 scale Hot Toy Doll..

I'm not a fan of mixed media either. Sculpted beats fabric any day.

I love mixed media. no issue with that for me personally. Having said that, I am surprised no other company has taken on fully sculpted, aside from the few that xm did.

attakus did a wonderful job and can be had for cheap, if you are ok with 1/5 scale...just stay away from the human characters : )

LOADING: Image(s)

This popped up on Sideshow Collectibles website today on the main page. It feels like this piece has been around since i first got into 1/4 scale. The piece looked odd back then. Today, seeing it again, it didn't look too bad. Has a slight cartoon edge to it.

At 1600 units, they made a ton of them, 12+ US ton's to be precise.

This picture.. looks like he forgot to zip (button) his pants.

btw, one of the few occasions a company has left space between his fingers on his 'closed' hand. Sometimes I hate when the hand is cast as one block. Now it is separated, but not really needed lol..

Yeah he looks like he has a skeleton hand

The piece looks average to me, not the best but has its charms

Honestly I would love to grab this piece. Just hard to justify the price.
