I think her skin should be a bit lighter.

Since the statue does not look Asian (as depicted by Royo), her skin tone suits a woman from the Mediterranean area, which to me is what she looks like. The fact that she doesn't look Asian is my only negative critique of the prototype.

Yeah I think so too. I feel that she is definitely supposed to have an exotic Asian vibe to her based on the original picture, but the prototype does not reflect this.

The artwork definitely depicts an Asian woman, especially considering the white kabuki-style face paint. Even if they decide to forgo the face paint due to production limitations, they definitely need to lighten the skin tone. She shouldn't have olive skin.

From Yamato on Facebook:

The Dead Moon will be available for preorder later today so please check back with us. Also we are planning to produce a Limited Version as well but before we move on I wanted peoples opinion on what color we should input. I was thinking her jacket should be black for the exclusive but some people wanted white? Take your pick and let me know.

I am fine with the way it is. Red is a vivid color to have in one's collection. Head on over to their page and voice your opinion.
