What are your Ultimate Collection Goals?

I was wondering what the ultimate goal was with your collections? What do you want to finally achieve with it?

As I read through the site, I see different ideas here and there about what folks are trying to achieve with their displays and they are pretty fascinating. Some folks want all movie and tv versions of characters (which is a great idea), some folks want every member of a certain team in one scale or another. Some want all females. All great plans IMO.

My personal goal is one that I have slowly realized over the past ten years or so. I want to have my top 10 favorite characters in 1/4 scale.

Batman
Captain America
Punisher
Green Lantern
Thor
Black Adam
Deathstroke
Silver Surfer
Captain Britain
Colossus

Now, not all of those will be made so I have alternates.

Mr. Sinister
Cyclops
Eradicator (like anyone will ever make that guy)
Captain Atom
Magneto
Judge Dredd

I will have these guys sitting on top of my short bookshelves. On the first inner shelves, right underneath the 1/4s, I will have my Bowen busts and 1/6 statues... and others in 1/6. On the bottom shelves, I have my omnibus HCs and various other HCS and TPBs.

Right now I only have Green Lantern and Judge Dredd in 1/4 scale.

For 1:4 I want the A list top tier Marvel/DC characters and their arch nemesis.

I'm a comic Loki and Manta away from it being possible.

There are more that I still need but all the others I want have been done in quarter scale.

I also collect 1/10 for my variety fix. There is really no rhyme or reason to how I collect them.

edit
oh wait I guess I'd need a Captain Cold or maybe Grodd? I dunno I haven't thought it out that far

Short-term goal: to have something to look forward to each day. (It takes like 20-30 days for an order to get to India from US.) So most days I have a collectible on the way.

Long-term goal: To have the definitive statues of my top 5 female characters; preferably in all their variant avatars I like.

1. Rogue
2. Sue Storm
3. Wonder Woman
4. Elektra
5. (Keeps changing: Emma Frost/Mystique/Poison Ivy/Jessica Drew/Black Cat/Gamora... it helps me keep dream this open-ended)

In the meantime, I also aim to have a badass X-Men and X-Force line-up.

I wish someday I could afford the now overpriced Sideshow Limited Edition Invisible Woman and the Sideshow X-force Diorama; or find worthy successors.

With a Savage Land Rogue and an extremely probable X-Men '92 Rogue releasing this year, I'm one step closer to my dream. Now, if only someone made decent statues of the outback-era Rogue and the X-treme X-men Rogue...

What Savage Land Rogue? Diamond Select? Or did I miss something?

I dig your list (except for the last two entries). Glad to see someone else have Pun and GL so high up.

I'd love to see pics of your shelf; especially that quarter scale GL. Share links if you can.

Yeah. Diamond Select is doing Savage Land Rogue. ANd Kotobukiya is doing the animated X-Men '92 line. Rogue isn't announced yet, but they'd be stark raving mad to skip her.
