That looks better than some statues made by some of these companies

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I used Vallejo paints for the suit and Garage Kits US Colors for the skin tones. I tried to stick to classic colors since AR loves those classic designs. All shadows and highlights are underneath the main paint...no tracing on top of the piece (I hate that look).

This was a repaint of the black version available on eBay so the base is the factory paint except for the S shield part which I repainted to the classic scheme. That paint scheme for the base was done by Ssol Yu who is a bad MF with an airbrush. Search him on FB and check out his work. He does prototypes for many of these fan art groups.

I didn't notice that pinhole until too late....it's now a Kryptonian war wound.

So I gotta catch my breath from the last two projects, get my floor work finished in the basement, and then move on to the next project.... probably AR Captain America from the same studio that did the AR Batman. Very challenging project. These kits are very high quality 3D prints, better than polystone quality, made by Ownage, China's top statue factory. ES runs less than fifty typically. Batman was # 29 of 40. I think Cap was an unnumbered AP.

Thanks again!

I think if I would ever want a statue of mine repainted I would now know who to send it to

Karnis maybe the people who want a black costumed Tweeterhead Donna troy statue should get your address

I appreciate the nice comment, but if you scan You Tube there are some master painters out there that do amazing work. I learned a ton from watching Matt's Custom Models and Vince Vell Customs.

Those guys are the Rolling Stones.

I am currently The Bay City Rollers.

But I did get the Tweeterhead TDK unpainted version to paint it black.

My basement is in a total state of disarray but here's a quick pic of the AR Batman with the switch out cowl & symbol:

Starting prep work for the next project, a 1/4 scale Alex Ross style Captain America statue (AP #6 of 10). It's got three heads and several switch out hands; one holding the mask and the other holding Thor's hammer. This is gonna be pretty challenging paint-wise as there's some real intricate masking required with all the stripes, circles, feathers and the like. I did knock out the base today to get a head start on things. Here goes nuthin'...

Alex Ross Captain America statue is moving right along. I painted and detailed the belt so all of the Captain parts are done. Now it's time to move on to the America parts.

Added Thanos to the "this stuff is really big and I don't know where to put it" portion of my collection. He really is a quality figure, as is Hulkbuster. Both worth every penny IMHO.
