There's Just No Way ...

Marvel/Disney's publishing books like this any more. I just reread this issue & it's just so damn violent. Great book, as was the Knights & Max' Punisher, along w/ a bunch of other Wolverine 1-shots & runs. But I just can't see a book like this ever getting out again. Gone are these days.

*Man, how I do love a Bradstreet' cover. Just look at that light in Logan's hair.

Sadly, I think you're right. I don't know if they think there isn't a market for stuff like this anymore or that the market isn't big enough? Or do you think it's something else?

Something else. Books like this, the Ennis' Punisher run, Tim Vigil's Grips, back when that was being published in the early 80's, + a few more "mature-content" violent books had a market. I feel that the reason books like this are no longer being published is because Disney, in no way, wants to be associated with this kind of comic book violence any more. I just read the Wolverine Returns book, & while it has violent content, it doesn't come close to this Holiday 1-shot. I think these 80's & 90's "Hard Crime" style books will be looked back on like old EC Horror comics. Something that once was, but will never be again.

Welcome to SF, by the way, Vicksen!

I haven't read Doomsday Clock. Is it being marketed as a mature title like Batman: Damned?
