Thanks for the pics. T, much appreciated. How's the weight on the piece, nice thick casting not too light right? hopefully. I just pray I can fit that box on the back of my truck, which is not looking like it.

yup we are all hoping ours arrive without damage. I just hope UK customs don't open it and do the usual!!!!!! No comeback when those jokers get involved if anything gets broken. Think I will get my model specialist to add a touch of magic to the paintwork however judging by the comments. We shall see. IF ONLY it was like that in the photo. Maybe just me but the real piece looks a LOT lighter and not the same dark shading. Not say it doesn't look amazing but just looks pale in the photos by comparison of those who have them now. Bit of dark shading and some fine details around the eye area and head will do wonders with a spray gun and some subtle paint tones. Take it to a new level I would think above the basic factory finish.

Sure thing, my friend. I'm not sure how big is your truck but I have a feeling you might need someone(a guy maybe) to help you out with this as this thing is heavy, the base is fine but the piece itself is heavy and feels pretty solid. I did pull the thing out of the box and mounted by myself but there was a moment I feel I might snap something while pulling it out of the box.

You might ended up unboxing it next to your truck, leave the box and come back for it later or junk it(I junked mine) and wrap it with tons of blankets or soft material, then move it onto your truck since the box is too big for average truck. Wish it will work out on your end. Keep us posted.

It's the lighting in the photos, the color doesn't look pale/light in person.

Thanks for the info. T, yep, time to change the delivery address for this one and just have the shipping company unload this right in front of my storage unit. Emailing and emailing Amy but no reply about cost of shipping? Oh yeah, it's a Silverado Chevy with a regular bed, has some pretty good space back there but not quite enough for this behemoth it's looking like. Good to hear about the solid construction on the Rex, it's looking like a little weight nightmare to unpack, just went through that about 10 days ago with the Blitz. Astronaut piece which REALLY made me think of this.
