All polystone except boots and cape are faux fur. In my opinion the less fabric a statue has the better. Look at all the rotting faux leather that statues like terminator have

Thanks, and I totally agree. I have only one statue with mixed media, Conan the Undying, and that is holding up nicely so far.

I never visited this thread thinking I don't buy conan ever. Even the sitting conan I was about to order it and restrained it. But wen I saw the doom statue yesterday in a video I am very much tempted.

I love very much the Base. So much details. Plz chronicle make a grey python swap head for doom

That has more to do with the quality of the cheap leather on that particular piece than it does with mixed media itself. Done right mixed will always look better and won't deteriorate if properly displayed.

I think it comes down to personal preference, mixed media can replicate the look of a shrunken down person, but sometimes it just looks like a nom possible doll. My favorite statues all have polystone outfits instead of cloth. Some prefer it the other way.
You are right about the quality of material, but even the best fabric is more prone to fading, dust, tearing, and falling apart, where as polystone is lasting other than the paint can fade in UV light.

He will have a real fur cape and boot coverings. These are easier pieces to produce compared to King Conan that had specific colored fur on his shoulders.

We've made changes to the helmet and fathers sword based on fans comments.

We are hoping to put this up for pre-order the week after the 1:5 Rex.
