Might be in the minority, but I love the CM base. Pose is cool too, never understood the flak it got.

Endoskeleton's can appear strange/over_happy, as their teeth are what thy are - on show 100%

Yeah I never understood either, I loved it and still love it. I did dislike the skull's around it though, thought they were a bit too big, but apart from that, just excellent!

Prime 1 has the movie accurate pose but CMs unique pose gives it that weighty look which is important.

Could also be the CM is a T-850 (T3), has a bigger chest, body builder proportions and some extra pistons in chest cavity, whereas the T-800 (T2) is a little more slim.

When the Prime 1 T-800 was first shown, I thought it looked too slim, but I've come to believe that it was mostly the fact that some of the details in the sculpt were wrong. Once they fixed those, I no longer notice anything wrong, whether real or not.

Their prototype was horrible but after the upgrade It is almost perfect now. However the eye socket shape is not movie accurate they should be a little more rounded but maybe they will fix those. No idea. Cannot wait to get it.

It sucked big time and I'm glad collectors (including myself) pointed out all the flaws. We had to do it otherwise prime would just leave it as it is. First impressions it would only be around 60-70% accuracy, even the shoulders were incorrect (used T1 instead of T2). Now it's well within the 90% range accuracy which is good enough for me.

Agreed, I'm good at anything 90% and up. The first prototype looked awful, which is why I paid little attention to this thing afterwards until only recently.

Can't wait to add him to the collection. It's going to have a killer presence...literally.
