It has come to my attention, that Gentle Giant is making enlarge GI Joe action figures out of the original GI Joe figures from the 80s.
Could you please elaborate if it's only for action figures or does the licesne go further than that?
Are there any plans for statues?
If yes will they be 1:6 1:5 or 1:4?
If you don't have a GI Joe statue license. Please consider obtaining one.
Next to Star Wars, GI Joe is my favorite franchise.
As a statue collector, I would be very plased if Gentle Giant could create high end fully sculpted statues of these characters that I have such nostalgia for.

There were no honey trap statues displayed at sdcc. Does this mean that there will be no more beyond the 5 shown? Are katya and fireball still getting produced?

I think it's 100% guaranteed you won't see anymore! In fact, get on your knees and pray you will (eventually) see these ones! GG clearly has their hands full making blown up retro action figures!!
Whispers "someone needs to tell GG about this real niche offshoot hobby, 1/6th scale Action Figures......"

The lack of appearance of HT statues at SDCC doesn't necessarily mean the line is doomed. There's limited space on the convention floor. From what I saw in online videos, GG's booth wasalso partially taken up by parent company 3Dsystems promoting 3D printers.

Yeah, what's that all about?!? I mean, that seems like such a waste given the venue. It's hardly as if 3D printing has reached a price where you'd just pick one up at a convention for giggles.

I guess Whisper is still popular seeing that 3D bust they are offering with that machine. Hopefully Whisper is still coming in August I think was the last word...

Hey Dreamwalker,
can you give us any info on the Rocket & Groot statue? It looks to be 1:4 scale, is that correct?
Does this mean we might see other GotG characters in this scale as well?
Thanks
