Well, that's also the case with anime collectibles in Europe. Only place with decent prices is France, but the rest of us pays top Dollar (Euro). It's not so much the Euro as it is the silly import fees several countries have put up. This has been done to repel unfair competition from foreign countries with local manufacturers.
Maybe Spain has less of a policy about that, I don't know. All I know is importing into The Netherlands is a pain in the butt when it comes to fees. So yes we have to pay between €800 and a €1000 for some of the pieces.
That's why we (at least I do) have to limit my purchases of XM to 1 a year. And I think it's going to be mageneto... but still, ~€900 will be devastating to my bank account.
