I am glad that the Vision now has a partner your display. I did hear about the leaning issue but hopefully it will not be too bad.

Has anyone ever made an Excalibur display with Bowen Designs pieces? Captain Britain and Nightcrawler could be used as the starting pieces but other members would have to be customs from other Bowen statues and busts.

I have never seen anyone do an Excalibur display. I never though about it but Rachel did not get any statue love from any company that I can recall and Kitty (or Kate) also received very little. I think over the years I have seen a pic of a customer of Rachel done from the Excalibur era but I might just think I did. An Excalibur display would look cool though

I know IID DESIGNS did a Shadowcat and Betsy Psylocke. I saw someone else had a custom Megan bust. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a completed Rachel custom only designs.

One of my favorite non X-Men Bowen pieces. Finally found a good deal on an undamaged one.

I saw that this was up for bid and I placed one of $150 and kind of forgot about it. I ended up winning it which I was kind of shocked about (the auction did end on Memorial Day so I think I had that going for me). I had owned this Iron Man statue before and even though I sold it, I kind of just bid on it for the heck of it and now I have it as part of my collection again. (I ended up paying $144 for it and that included shipping and tax.)

This statue is definitely one of the smaller Iron Man statues that Bowen did (if not the smallest). It is 12 inches tall but the base is almost 3 inches. Other than loving the pose (which is based on the classic John Romita Jr/Bob Layton Iron Man #126 cover) the colors on this piece are fantastic and very vibrant. Very happy with it.

I remember a time when those sold for super cheap on eBay. I rarely see one now. Nice pick up.
