Anyone read digital comics?

I am curious as to how many comic fans read their comics in digital format. I've been reading and collecting for over 40 years.

I'd love to hear some feedback on the experience:
What do you like?
What do you dislike?

I'm looking at Comixology as a platform. Is this the best?
If yes why?
If not why?

Thanks for the help and feedback.

I may buy the occasional comic here and there, like Lau's new Batman and Wonder Woman cover and Michael Turner's new covers. I also buy any cover by Lucio Parrillo. Beyond that all of my purchases are hardcover TPB's, Omnibus's, and Art Editions. Marvel and DC both need to cut the amount of titles they are producing in half and start focusing on quality instead of quantity. Plus I hate the ridiculous amount of variants produced these days and the ridiculous price many of them have. So I have really stopped supporting the regular comic market.

As for digital comics, I download a lot of them just for the sake of having a lot of the artwork in digital form, but I never actually read digital comics. At least for me, something just gets lost in the translation.

For a very short while I read digital comics, but I prefer purchasing the hard copy. I'm like that with all of my media though (music, movies, video games) so it's no surprise.

To quote Stan Lee who was almost certainly never quoted saying this:

"Comics are like boobs, they look great on a computer but I'd rather hold one in my hand."

If ever made, this would be my "go-to" con T-shirt.
