Looks like someone is selling the original blue release with an additional portrait from the new release.
Which means they probably own the new release and obtained a replacement portrait.

RARE PROTOTYPE - it could be. Or it could be BS as i don't think Sideshow release their prototpyes to anyone. From what i can gather, they won't even release their 'Out of the Box' pieces either.

The seller's history isn't that of a typical flipper, or statue/toy collector. kemscloset2016 typically likes to sell dresses, shoes, earrings.

Isn't 'Kem' a males name? combine that with 'Closet' and a seller selling dresses, shoes, earrings.. i'm thinking 'cross-dresser'

He said "prototype" to mean the OG head (that one on X-Force var.) with the exclusive version.

So confused, but the pics show the actual prototype from the events. And the seller said prototype on the title.

The seller is obviously attempting to justify the high price by selling the piece using images from a Con. In reality it is the original with the new portrait. I guess they will keep the new black variant and make money by selling the original blue Psylocke (assuming someone is foolish enough to part with that amount of cash).

It's called blatant false advertising. The seller doesn't have the prototype, yet is claiming that's what they're selling.

They simply took a production of each version and put them together to create this so-called prototype.

I do hope anyone actually considering to buy a prototype of anything realizes that it may come with design flaws or kinks that are intended to be worked out in the final production piece. If someone really wants an X-Force head on the Psylocke PF body, pick up both pieces and do a head swap.
