Kusama: Infinity (2018) - Artist Yayoi Kusama and experts discuss her life and work, from her modest beginnings in Japan to becoming an internationally renowned artist.
I found it to be a very interesting introduction to this artist and her work. 8/10

Annihilation - 7/10
Alex Garland is one of my favorites in the industry today with screenwriting greats such as 28 days later, Sunshine and Dredd under his belt to his directorial debut with the excellent Ex Machina. Annihilation sounded like it was right up my alley. While nowhere near as good as the film’s mentioned above I did enjoy it. The narrative is a bit more ambiguous than most will probably like however. Good Sci-Fi that’ll leave you pondering it’s broader meanings and climax well after it concludes.

This film has been on my list. Based on your review I'll have to make sure I see it.
Did your ever see Under the Skin? It's not a Kubrick film but it is a film that is very much in his style of film making. I highly recommend it and would be interested to read your take on it.

No, but that one has been on my list for a while. I’ll move it up in my queue.

Ooh High praise.
I feel the same as you about Alex, however this film left me wanting and I feel it was a miss.
I was going to read the books but when I saw Alex was attached I thought I'd hold off to see his version. I think I'll go back and read the books now.
