The details on the model cars are so amazing and all the snakes are pretty cool. Very unique hobby.

Thanks bud, since I picked up my aventador I havent been able to look away from it. You really have to see it in person to really appreciate its detail and quality. Pictures only do so much...

Thanks dude, I picked up some new additions a few weeks ago that are now part of the snake collection. I wont bother posting pics though as they are the same genus as the others and pretty much look the same....just bigger.

Nice to see another Astronomer in the making. Me and my bro have an orion optics vx12 dobsonian, but with the light pollution in London we can barely tap into its full potantial on a day to day basis. Our only option is to travel to our local woods and camp for a weekend.

Likewise bud!
I also have a 12" orion skyquest dob myself. Much easier to travel with and assemble compared to my 8" schmidt cassegrain.
Im actually heading out to Starfest in a couple weeks and staying for 3 days. Hopfully we get some clear and very dark skies to get some excellent viewing.

Do you have any star parties you attend there?

That sounds awesome buddy, Im envious!
me and my bro frequent the stargazers lounge, and try to organise as much as we can. The most local party we have is The Ruislip stargazers party, which is quite nice, usually happens every 3 months.
