The portraits will be my deciding factor. I can't tell If I love them enough to pay the big bucks yet. Normally this may not be a good sign to me. But I will give it time for the full reveal to Judge.

Hmm, not really excited about this. The helmeted head looks unsure and confused about how to fight his opponent. The upward head tilt isn't a strong posture for Hulk to have. The other head appears more fierce.

Given the crazy price that's sure to follow, I'd favor the first Gladiator Hulk if I were looking to buy one. Which I also artistically prefer. This is still an impressive statue with dynamic pose and full of detail, more realistic approach. Just not my cup of tea.

From the teaser pic it’s almost like he’s been knocked back and down from an attack, and is preparing to rise and strike.

There were a couple of reasons I passed on the original Gladiator - wasn't a fan of how much the shield obscured the character, the anatomy on the front, particularly the abs just didn't seem right, but mostly the pose just didn't scream Hulk to me in any way, especially for the Gladiator interpretation of the Hulk which was pretty much constant rage during battle - the pose seems almost subdued apart from the furrowed eyebrows. Having said that, I loved the head sculpt itself, especially the King version.

I need to see more photos on this and of the two heads, but I can't fault Bel's anatomy or sculpting so far, so I have high hopes for sure! You can see from the preview pics that there is far more detail to the sculpt and armour already, so looking forward to the 25th!

To think the original Gladiator & King Hulk price both at $600 each will cost the same or if not more this maquette... such a bargain lol

The first gladiator hulk was amazing! the best ever made. So I hope this one is double the size, details, and double the accessories for being double the price.

Agree completely! I'm open to being swayed by more images from different angles.

Needs to be displayed with the helm, but the rage portrait at this stage looks much better than the helm portrait IMO.

Yes Gladiator and King Hulk were masterpieces, 2 of SSC greatest and cheap. Yes to think I got both for less than this statue

Wow, this is making me think things over. If it was 1:3 then ok, but at the same size :/

And this is totally our fault, because we simply accepted skyrocketing prices across the board.

From the promotional picture it doesn't even look like the quality improved over the years, I will wait for the prototype and price before I make my final judgement though.
