The Yard by Alex Grecian (Writer of Proof)

So far it's pretty awesome (and I'm not usually a non-comic book reader)

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Really enjoying them.

It's actually a Librivox recording in podcast form, dowloaded free from iTunes. I'm now on chapter 8 and am loving it. There's quite a bit of sarcasm and humor in this book, which I didn't expect at all. The reader does an excellent job of conveying it.

Cool! All I remember is 24 pages about the blow-hole.
I'll check audible for it.

House of Chains-Book 4 of the Malazan Book of the Fallen. Just cannot say enough about this awesome series. Started on Book 1 and am going to read straight through to the end.

Michael Crichton - Pirate Latitudes: fantastic read... picked it up at the airport in Charlotte, NC.. and had it done by the time I landed in San Francisco.. yay for layovers. I have read very little pirate fiction (though plenty of nautical fiction/non-fiction), and this was a real treat. Surprisingly, the unconquerable obstacle the pirates choose to tackle is the easiest obstacle they face in the entire book. Haha... everything you'd want in a tale about pirates is touched upon.

The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor - I enjoy books about "the zombie apocalypse" (if they're done well), and while Kirkman doesn't TOTALLY have writing in the novel format mastered (contrary to his mastery over comic writing), this book was very entertaining. The man who becomes the Governor has been down a hard road indeed, and that road's laid out in graphic detail in this book. Good stuff.
