If that is the final product photos, they had these long in production before the preorder went out. I think Hot Toys rushed this one into production before it was ready.

Hot Toys Avengers Infinity War Black Widow Early Release 4K Review
https://youtu.be/AiXZeTUAwyA

An easy pass. My Hot Toys collection total's 3, and i think that's enough, although i've been tempted to get the Joker (purple coat) to go with Harely - I guess Black Widow Infinity War is more for those that collect all things Hot Toys

I'd like to see what Prime 1 Studio could do with Black Widow

I think the face sculpt is prettier than the real ScarJo, but I don't collect Marvel characters.

Agreed. The sculptor / painter appear to have opted to go for a pin up model rather than a super hero. Black Widow looks far too glamorous in the eyes of Hot Toys

I only have a few HT at the moment so my experience is limited, but it seems to me that these figures aren't always the most photogenic. There are a few skilled photographers who do them justice, but for the most part they end up looking way better in person than they do in pics and video. So I have a hard time judging until I see them in person. Statues are much more photogenic.

Completely agree. Another reason to not trust pics is that 90% collectors pose these things in unflattering or unnatural ways. I have found that a few simple tweaks here and there to a pose can make a world of difference for most figures.

And so the unboxing videos begin..

Alex Unxboxing | Hot Toys - Avengers 3: Infinity War MMS460 Black Widow 1:6 Figure
https://youtu.be/ZYm11rDb34o
Alex appears to pronounce 'Scarlett' as 'Charlotte'.

For a Hot Toy it looks good, even if the hair is really off putting. Checkout the mess it becomes by the end of the video in the hands of Alex, who has large nails, which get in the way. Alex doesn't pull any punches when it comes to working out what goes where, pulling hands off ect, she is rough!

Have they ever made a sculpted hair version? Might have to go with the Figuarts.

It's true about HT not being the most photogenic.
