Question Newbie's questions about statues

Hello everyone,

I'm new on this forum ; and i'm not english or american so please excuse my bad language

I'm a newbie in the collectible statues universe.. and I have.. some questions please :

1 - Are some statues re-edited after years ? (F4F, GamingHeads, SideShow for example)

2 - I've "pre-ordered" (waitlist) Raziel exclusive version from GamingHeads ( ), just a few days after pre-orders were closed..
I guess this statue was announced 1 or 2 years ago..

Do you think I have a chance to have one or it's too late ? (350 worldwide ; i'm on waitlist since end of October 2018)
I mailed GamingHeads but they won't let me know my number in the waitlist (because "the number is auto calculated by the system" lol)

3 - Actually, I bought this one ( ) about SIX months after the announce on youtube...

And you know what ? I received a number under #100 ... And since a month or two, both editions Regular and Exclusive are sold out... (500 and 1500 pieces worldwide)

What the heck ? :/

4 - Finally, I can't understand why Solid Snake from F4F is limited to 2000 pieces, while the Camouflage editions are limited to only 175 (blue) and 200 pieces ! (green)
(I'm on the waitlist for the green edition, F4F told me I am in the top 10 of the waitlist... while I pre-ordered it after 1 year of the announce)

Everyone think those versions are horrible or what ?

Btw, in your opinion, is top 10 on the waitlist good/safe, even for a 200 pieces edition please ?

Links : Regular (1000 pieces) Exclusive (1000 pieces) Blue camouflage (175 pieces) Green camouflage <3 (200 pieces)

Thanks in advance for your answers guys

You have limited edition statues and open runs. A limited edition means that there are a limited amount made while an open run means you can make as many as you want.
Normally, if a regular piece has an edition size of 2000, and a similar has one of 100. The 2000 is the regular version and the 100 is a variant. A variant are normally just color changes. The uniform can be a different color. Or, it may have a different base, head. But, for the most part, it is a clear spin-off of the main one.
If the statue is available 1 month, 1 year or 10 years after its release, it just means that particular statue did not sell out. That's it.
Companies don't always manufacturer to sell out immediately, they probably manufacture to make a descent profit. If not, what's the point of paying for a license?
Hope that kind of answered your questions. Enjoy the hobby and be happy you found some statues that you like!
