I've been waiting on a cover commission since early April from him that I purchased from Ebay. The original ship date he told me was almost two weeks ago.

ITA with your whole post. If the logos weren't on their shirts, I would have no idea who they are. I would even wonder if DC had its own version of the Stepford Cuckoos.
Aside from their bland expressions, the girls also look really mature.

I got a few MC Wyman commissions off ebay a few years back. They were very late, but what really disappointed me was that MC didn't follow the descriptions or the reference very closely. That's why I haven't gotten a commission from him since.

Yeah I think it's probably best to give him an idea but not anything too specific.

I prefer artists who can deliver what I asked for. The annoying thing is that Wyman has drawn some amazing commissions in the past. But his current stuff seems oddly lifeless, almost as if he's lost the abililty to draw distinctive male and female faces. He seems to have one stock face for each gender.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

The couple times I have checked on a piece, I have done it via ebay. I'm guessing he is a few weeks behind, but I don't mind waiting. I would rather the piece be late vs rushed. My advice would be to give it a couple weeks then check in with him.

I asked him about it last week and I was told that he is shipping out a bunch of commissions this week and that mine is one of them. So we shall see.
